Kim Kardashian was looking particularly downcast and sombre as she made her way through LAX on Friday night.
The reality TV star donned an all black ensemble to match her mood, while large blackout shades shielded her eyes as she pushed eight-month-old daughter North through the arrivals hall to their awaiting car, with mom Kris Jenner trailing behind. The 33-year-old kept her head down as she made a beeline for the exit, looking stylish in black jeans, knee-high suede boots, a plain top and heavy winter jacket.
Sombre and stonefaced: Kim Kardashian looked
positively gloomy as she landed at LAX on Friday following her
disastrous trip to Vienna, Austria
The star went make-up-free for the more than 12-hour flight, with her long brunette mane tied back in a ponytail with a heavy side part.
Her 58-year-old momager matched suit by also wearing the same monotone look.
Her outfit consisted of leggings tucked into lace-up combat boots, a top, ankle-lenth black mink coat and matching Chanel fur scarf emblazoned with the label's famous interlocking silver 'C' logo.
The mother-of-six managed to crack a wry smile as she followed her daughter, carrying her bulging black crocodile-skin handbag.
You live and learn: The star kept her large
blackout shades firmly in place as she pushed daughter North through the
arrivals hall and out to their awaiting car in her stroller, no doubt
eager to get home and put the whole sorry affair behind her
All black everything: While her daughter wasn't
able to muster even the slightest smile, mom Kris Jenner gave a wry grin
as she followed close behind, also clad in an entirely black outfit of
leggings, lace-up combat boots, a top, long mink coat and matching Chanel scarf
Relived to be home: The reality star's
experience at the Vienna Ball, where she was the paid date of
81-year-old billionaire businessman Richard Lugner, was tarnished by
stand-up comic Chris Stephan's insulting Blackface gag and a fellow
guest dropping the N word in front of her
Kris wore her cropped brown locks in a
sideswept style, while she covered her minimally made-up face behind
large black aviators. It's little wonder why Kim was down in the dumps, considering how disastrously her trip to Austria went as she attended the Vienna Ball as the invited - not to mention paid - guest of 81-year-old billionaire businessman Richard Lugner.
From comedian Chris Stephan donning Blackface and impersonating Kim's fiancé, Kanye West, to a guest dropping the N word in front of her during an interview, the 33-year-old's time in the country was marred from start to early finish.
Baby onboard: The doting mom took great care
loading eight-month-old Nori into the vehicle following their exhausting
more than 12-hour flight
Jet-set style: The 58-year-old wore her cropped
locks in a no-fuss sideswept style, while she donned a light covering of
make-up, her eyes partially obscured by large black aviators
Fashionable flight attire: Kim may have forgone
make-up and worn her long locks in a simple ponytail, but she still made
an effort with her dress, looking chic in black jeans, top, knee-high suede boots and long winter coat
In fact, it was the stand-up comic's
poorly-judged gag that saw the understandably offended mother-of-one
flee the ball ahead of schedule. The feeling of dissatisfaction is said to have been mutual between both parties, with the businessman reported to have been disgruntled at his guest not living up to her commitments - for which she was reportedly paid $500,000.
'Kim is annoying me because she's not sticking to the program,' he is alleged to have said.
Look who's blonder! The E! cameras were rolling
