A knife-wielding attacker stabbed a mother-of-two to death then rolled a cigarette while he waited for police to arrive, it was claimed today.
The victim, 42-year-old Naudel Turner, was pronounced dead at hospital after she was stabbed at least four times in the neck in Tottenham, north London yesterday afternoon.
It is believed Ms Turner was returning home from her job as a health care worker in the area when the attack happened.

Officers were said to be looking at traces of
tobacco, following claims the alleged killer rolled a cigarette after
stabbing Ms Turner at least four times
A 46-year-old man was arrested at the scene, which was later cordoned off while forensics officers combed the street for evidence.
Police say Ms Turner was a 'hard-working' mother of two boys, aged 19 and 20, from Fulham, who traveled to Tottenham to work.
Detective Chief Inspector Noel MucHugh said: 'We now believe she knew her attacker. Enquiries are underway to establish the relationship between the two parties.'
Those working nearby said the attacker lay the knife on Ms Turner's chest after the stabbing and made no attempt to flee.
A witness, who asked not to be named, claimed he was the final person the victim saw before she died as she lay covered in blood with a kitchen knife on her chest.
He said: 'I heard the screaming so I went over to see what was happening. I saw the woman lying on her back with neck wounds.
'I looked at her and she was still breathing. A kitchen knife was laying on her chest. It wasn't embedded, it had just been placed there.
'The man stood there and rolled a cigarette. He'd done the deed and put the knife on her.'
Describing her final moments, he added: 'I was learning over her and she was looking down, then she looked up at me, she took a breath, and shut her eyes. I was the last person she saw.
'Two blokes came over and wrestled the guy to the ground and sat on him until the police came.
'My friend said he heard the argument begin up the road and then he followed her down the road before he stabbed her.'
Witnesses said they believe Ms Turner knew her attacker, who did not attempt to flee the scene
A post-mortem examination will be held at Haringey Mortuary today, when an inquest will open and adjourn
Sergio Fernandes, 21, said: 'I think these people had issues together. I was talking to a few witnesses and they said he stabbed her up four times in the neck.
'He stood there knowing he had done something wrong and rolled up a cigarette and let the police take him away.'
Yvonne Brown, who left flowers at the scene yesterday, said: 'She was my nurse and she was a very lovely woman.

Police think witnesses may have filmed the attack, which happened in Bruce Grove, on their mobile phones and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector MucHugh, who is leading the murder inquiry, added: 'I need to hear from anyone who was in the Bruce Grove area shortly before 1pm and who may have witnessed the incident.
'I would like to directly appeal to anyone who may have captured images or footage before and after the incident to contact us immediately.

'He is not a suspect, but we urge him to get in touch with us as soon as possible.
'I would appeal to him or anyone else to contact us with the footage or images they took as a matter of urgency and not to upload them on the internet or share them with friends as it may harm our investigation.'
