Jennifer Hudson steps down as Weight Watchers ambassador after losing 80lbs in four years

She's lost a hefty 80lbs in four years.
Now Jennifer Hudson is ready to step down as the ambassador for Weight Watchers.
The superstar singer's contract with the diet brand is about to end and it was a mutual decision not to renew it, People reported on Friday.

'My experience with Weight Watchers has truly been life changing. I am grateful for what I have learned throughout the process and will always take it with me,' the 32-year-old said in a statement.
'I have chosen to step away from my role as ambassador and I am excited for the year to come, with many new projects and lots of new music.'
A Weight Watchers spokesperson said: 'We're confident Jennifer will remain a Lifetime Member. Jennifer's healthy lifestyle and successful weight loss has inspired so many – from her friends and family to our members and staff, as well as people around the world – and we know that inspiration lives on.'

The singer-turned actress, who won an Oscar for her role in Dreamgirls in 2006, became a rep for Weight Watchers in 2010, the year after giving birth to her baby, David.
The tot is her son with her WWE wrestler fiancé David Otunga.

In the four years since then she's gone from a chubby size 16 to a slender 6 and flaunts her fabulous new figure on stage and on red carpets around the world.

Now it looks as it Jessica Simpson may be taking over the former American Idol star's role with Weight Watchers.

The pair have previously appeared together in adverts for the brand but Jessica has been doing the commercials solo this year.
Meanwhile, Jennifer showed off her beautifully slender body in a sizzling snap posted on Instagram on Wednesday.
Taken outside the Florida branch of The Hit Factory music studio, she captioned the sexy shot: 'This weather in Miami is crazy!!! Can't lie, I still miss home though! In the studio!!! Yep!'
