At least 28 dead and 113 injured after gang of knife-wielding men attack train station in China and hack their way through commuters

China massacre
WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT: Distressing photos show bodies and blood strewn across the floor after the attack at the Kunming Railway Station (centre) in Yunnan province, one of the largest rail terminals in south west China. Others were seen lying in the street outside (right) and at least one of the attackers was shot dead by police. The death toll would make the attack the deadliest in recent Chinese history after several mass stabbings, including one last June which killed at least 28 people. One resident, Yang Haifei, said he was buying a ticket when he saw a group of people rush into the station, many of them dressed in black, and start stabbing people with long knives. Medics were treating people in the station (left) for several hours.
