She's been in the spotlight as one of the world's most recognisable supermodels for nearly three decades.
So it's not surprising that Naomi Campbell would know how to set the red carpet on fire with a foxy afro on Saturday night at the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles.
But she had a bit of competition in the form of up-and-coming actress Lupita Nyong'o, who rocked a Grace Jones inspired flat top to the evening festivities.

Naomi, 43, wore a black and gold animal print gown that featured a long train that trailed behind her on the red carpet.
Donning gold bangles and drop earrings, the supermodel, who was first discovered at the age of 15, smiled brightly during her photo op.
Although, the star's hairstyle may have been a wig as she made a show of wearing an afro headdress in February on The Graham Norton Show.

Lupita, 31, took some inspiration from Eighties icon Grace Jones who enjoyed a career as an actress and model and famously rocked a masculine flat top.
The 12 Years A Slave star shared on Instagram a snap of her right hand festooned with a ring featuring a cutout of the striking model's face.

Once at the event Lupita showed off her edgy sense of style in a shiny monorchome dress as she stood tall blue pumps.

She later posed behind the scenes with Laverne, who towered over the petite Juno star.

Meanwhile, according to The Sun newspaper supermodel Naomi is now dating 12 Years A Slave hottie Michael Fassbender.

The two were allegedly seen openly kissing and canoodling at a restaurant with the paper reporting the pair went public with their relationship after they had secretly met up at hotspot Coya on Tuesday in London's upmarket Mayfair district.
