Debbie Rowe 'to go to court to try to gain custody of her and Michael Jackson's children Prince and Paris'

Debbie Rowe is reportedly set to go to court to try to claim custody of her two children with Michael Jackson.
The 55-year-old, who had kids Prince Jackson, 17, and 16-year-old Paris Jackson, with the late music legend – who died in 2009 aged 50 – is allegedly keen to get guardianship of the pair because she feels Michael's mother and co-guardian Katherine Jackson is too old, sources have told TMZ.
The website quotes Debbie as telling a friend: 'Katherine's not connected with the kids or involved in their lives.'

Katherine and Michael's nephew TJ Jackson are currently acting as co-guardians of Prince, Paris and 12-year-old Blanket Jackson – who was born via a surrogate mother – and Debbie is also said to be keen to get custody of Blanket, despite not being his biological mother.
She is thought to be keen to move the three children to her home in Palmdale, California, where she breeds horses, and as a result she is prepared to go to court to ask a judge to appoint her as their legal guardian.
Sources told the website she doesn't want any of the money from Michael Jackson's estate but is simply seeking guardianship because she adores the kids.

Debbie – who was married to the Beat It hitmaker from 1996 to 1999 – is said to like TJ but has grown concerned that he has been away from the child for long spells after recently going on tour.
It has also been claimed that she wants to get closer to Paris – who was hospitalised following a reported suicide attempt last June - but Debbie is said to be most concerned about Blanket's welfare.
What's more, TMZ also reports that Debbie has agreed to tie the knot to long-time friend Marc Schaffel after initially refusing his offer of marriage because she feared she had cancer.

But she has now changed her mind after getting the all-clear from her doctor.
In a phone interview with TMZ on Thursday, the 55-year-old revealed that she had turned Marc, the late star's business manager, down three weeks ago because of uncertainty about her health.
She said: 'I had gone into the hospital before and they were worried about cancer. And I didn't feel that I could say "yes" knowing that.'
As part of Debbie and Michael's divorce in 1999 she gave full custody rights of her kids to him and she received a reported $8million settlement.
And just two years later she applied through a private judge to have her parental rights terminated completely, claiming it was in her children's best interests.
MailOnline has contacted representatives of Michael Jackson and TJ Jackson for comment.
