Safest Seats On Commercial Planes

Studies have revealed people sitting behind an airliner's wing had a 40 percent greater chance of surviving than passengers in the front of the plane, and aisle seats near an exit row are among the safest. The first 90 seconds after a crash are the most important — if you can stay calm and get out quickly, your odds of survival are much greater.
