CAF Media Committee member and former AIT Sports correspondent Aisha Falode has lost her son, Toba Falode.
The young lad, several reports this week say, passed away over the weekend in a car crash, according to his friends.
Before the shocking incident, Toba
Falode was schooling in Dubai, U.A.E, according to NET findings. He was
also into contemporary music, combining schooling with music production
and rapping. His monicker was Tyler Fray.
The late rapper released a number of
instrumentals on his SoundCloud Page. Last year, he tweeted about his
mum being supportive of his music career: ‘Actually making important connects, thank God for my mom, moving on up!! Baba god Noni!!!’.
His biography on social music plugin/player website Reverbnation reads:
‘Tyler is a young, talented musician
who started singing at the age of 6 and started to write his own lyrics
at the age of 9. At this early stage he decided that he wanted this to
be his career. While most thought this was a faze he knew it wasn’t so
he’s been working towards it ever since. He aims to be at the very top
when he’s in and won’t stop till he’s a Legend. Watch him grow’.
‘This is a tragedy. It is very, very sad to hear of the death of such a young, charming and ambitious young man’, NFF President Aminu Maigari said
‘We feel very much for Aisha Falode
and deeply mourn with her at this period. It must be so devastating to
lose such a promising son at that young age’, he added.
Edo State born Aisha Falode, a mother of two, is also the national team co-coordinator of female football in Nigeria.
